Jan’s passion is to make a difference in the life of others through listening, understanding and facilitating caring body work. All of her treatments are designed to bring peace, harmony and balance. Jan spent many years in a people orientated environment, she had a very successful and demanding corporate career. At times due to high performance expectations she craved a space to breathe and just be. Sound familiar? Jan held the belief that one day she would create such a space to offer her clients a retreat from the pressure of today’s lifestyle challenges.
Ten years ago, the universe sent Jan a new career directive and the journey to create such a space commenced. The first modality that Jan trained in was AromaTouch; aromatherapy and essential oils have always played a part in her busy life – she is a doTerra Wellness Advocate and devotee. Further training with sage, talented teachers and mentors in Aroma Kahuna, Lomi Lomi, Reiki, Reflexology, Relaxation Massage and Lava Shell Massage including Lava Momma (pregnancy massage) has extended her portfolio of treatments.
A signature treatment unique to Jan is Aroma Kahuna, this is a fusion of eight (8) doTerra essential oils and Kahuna Massage. The oils work together to bring homeostasis (balance) back into the body whilst the long flowing strokes of Kahuna are deeply soothing and relaxing. The Warm Lava Shell Massage is something else! These natural clam shells are self-heating and so smooth, they glide over the body in conjunction with Kahuna/Lomi Lomi techniques delivering a warm therapeutic massage.
